Taking off!

Well, well, well… This month will be a year since COVID mobility restrictions allowed me to go back to work on the sailboat!
A year goes fast, and a lot of things happened during this period. However, the works were slowlier every day than the day before, and challenges were knocking at the door every single day. Finally, my colleagues Angy and Ximena were not able to stay in the project any longer, both having to take different paths on their personal lives.
Adapting to this new situation was difficult. Very difficult indeed, as I had already launched part of the project and people who already knew about my plans divided in two «battle teams», one trying to convince me giving up was the best approach, the other one pushing me to keep going. My stubborn self was on the second team, taking the flag and showing me the way.
More changes had to come, I had to explore new alternatives and resources, and I finally came up with a new plan: to go back to the original plan! So, here I am, working on my own, and looking to make a difference. If I will succeed or not, I still don’t know, but I certainly have a lot of work ahead and a lot of people to thank for their support!
I am specially grateful for Angy and Ximena’s support during the time they did their best to help the project. Their work is highly valued and I am eager to see them back onboard one of those days! Thank you, gals!
